Health initiatives for truckers in the U.S.
On World Health Day 2026, we want to highlight the importance of health for truck drivers through health initiatives made for them.

April 7 is celebrated globally as World Health Day. In 2026, the campaign of the World Health Organization (WHO) carries the slogan “Together for Health: Let’s Support Science, launching an initiative that highlights the power of scientific collaboration to protect the health of people, animals, plants, and the planet. The goal of this year’s campaign is to showcase scientific achievements in health, with a strong emphasis on the “One Health” approach, the WHO explains.

The campaign calls on governments and all healthcare personnel to support science based on evidence, facts, and scientific recommendations for health. Likewise, the WHO aims to rebuild trust in science and public health for a healthier future worldwide.

To mark this date, in line with the WHO’s campaign objectives, we want to highlight the importance of health for truck drivers. Being a truck driver is a demanding job that often leads to health problems, which is why promoting drivers’ well-being is a top priority within the industry.
