During this week, dozens of commercial vehicle inspectors will join forces to carry out the annual enforcement campaign known as “Operation Full House” in Arizona. On Wednesday, March 25, and Thursday, March 26, 2026, local law enforcement agencies will conduct an intensive commercial vehicle safety enforcement operation at and around the Ehrenberg Port of Entry on Interstate 10.
The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), in coordination with the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) and local law enforcement agencies, will carry out Operation Full House with the goal of ensuring safe and efficient commercial transportation throughout Arizona.

Operation Full House: Commercial Vehicle Inspections in Arizona
Operation Full House, which this year will include more than 50 commercial vehicle enforcement inspectors, is held annually as part of the Arizona Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance. This alliance is made up of officers from ADOT’s Enforcement and Compliance Division and state troopers from AZDPS.
According to ADOT’s official statement, the operation will place special emphasis on motor carrier safety regulations, including driver qualifications, hours of service, and overall safe driving practices. Inspection personnel will focus their efforts on potential traffic violations, distracted driving, and seat belt–related violations involving commercial vehicles, to ensure that drivers and commercial vehicles comply with federal regulations and state laws.
The Ehrenberg Port of Entry, where the inspection will take place, is located at milepost 3.5 on eastbound I-10, near the California state line. All commercial vehicles traveling through this stretch on March 25 and 26 will be subject to inspection by the appropriate authorities.
“ADOT’s Enforcement and Compliance Division protects Arizona’s transportation infrastructure and promotes roadway safety by inspecting commercial vehicles at the state’s ports of entry and at mobile inspection stations,” ADOT stated in its release.
ADOT personnel also conduct vehicle identification inspections and investigations related to vehicle dealers, title fraud, and driver’s license and state identification fraud.

Other Commercial Vehicle Inspections in 2026
The year brings a new round of inspections across the United States. Although Operation Full House is focused exclusively on I-10 in Arizona, beginning in May, the annual inspections of the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) will take place, with the goal of ensuring the safety and regulatory compliance of commercial vehicles on the roadways.
So far, this is the general information about each of the inspections that will take place across North America this year:
International Roadcheck
The CVSA’s 2026 International Roadcheck is scheduled for May 12–14. During this 72-hour enforcement initiative, inspectors across North America will conduct thousands of roadside inspections of commercial vehicles and drivers. These inspections focus on both vehicle condition and driver compliance; this year, inspectors will place special emphasis on proper cargo securement.
Operation Safe Driver Week
Operation Safe Driver Week 2026 is scheduled for July 12–18. This year, the initiative will focus on reducing dangerous driving behaviors among both commercial vehicle drivers and passenger vehicle drivers.
This annual CVSA initiative aims to improve roadway safety by addressing high-risk driving behaviors. In addition to enforcement, it includes educational outreach and traffic enforcement activities, during which law enforcement personnel actively monitor both commercial and passenger vehicle drivers for unsafe driving practices.
Brake Safety Week
Brake Safety Week is scheduled for August 23–29, 2026. During this campaign, inspectors will conduct brake system inspections (primarily Level IV inspections) to ensure the safe operation of commercial motor vehicles by examining the braking systems of large trucks and buses across North America (United States, Canada, and Mexico).
This campaign aims to remind drivers of the importance of proper brake maintenance.
