1. Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular – Boston, Massachusetts

The Boston Pops show is one of the largest in the country, drawing up to 500,000 spectators annually. It takes place at the Hatch Shell, featuring open-air concerts and culminating in a spectacular fireworks display.

This year, the celebration will be held from 7:00 to 10:00 PM EDT and will be broadcast live nationwide on The CW Network and locally on WHDH-TV Channel 7.

2. Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks – New York City

Macy’s fireworks show in New York City is one of the most anticipated events in the U.S. Visible to much of the city, it attracts thousands of visitors each year. To bring this show to life, more than 80,000 shells are launched up to 1,000 feet over the East River.

Macy’s fireworks broadcast runs from 8:00 to 10:00 PM ET on NBC and Peacock. A condensed version airs from 10:00 to 11:00 PM ET on NBC.

3. Big Bay Boom – San Diego, California

San Diego’s Big Bay Boom is one of California’s biggest fireworks displays. With multiple viewing locations throughout the city, it draws over 400,000 visitors each year.

The show begins at 9:00 PM PDT and will be broadcast by Fox 5 San Diego and KTLA 5.

4. A Capitol Fourth – Washington, D.C.

This spectacular event in the U.S. capital uses around 2,400 fireworks shells and draws up to 700,000 attendees. Held on the West Lawn of the Capitol, it starts at 8:00 PM ET. For those who can’t attend in person, a live broadcast airs on PBS. Additionally, FOX 5 DC will stream the event live at 9:00 PM via the FOX LOCAL app.

5. Drone and Fireworks Show – Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Gatlinburg hosts a fun, festive, and family-friendly celebration. The festivities kick off with a free fireworks display at 9:50 PM UTC, accompanied by a stunning drone light show.

Afterward, the legendary Midnight Parade takes place—a tradition that has been celebrated in downtown Gatlinburg for over 50 years.
